Important Update: 1/12 Camaro Four Link Rear Suspension — Coil Over Shaft Warping Fix
Hello Four Link Camaro Customers,
I have started to see some fantastic builds from customers using my four link rear suspension, and it's been truly exciting to watch. However, I am writing to inform you of a potential issue that has been reported by some of my customers.
We've identified that the coil over shock shafts can experience minor warping under the weight of the model, causing the rear to sit lower than intended. The good news — we have two simple workarounds that take only a few minutes and keep your build looking great.
Option 1 — Pin Method
No extra parts needed — extra pins are already included in your kit!
- Drill two small holes directly over the differential carrier.
- Slide one of the included pins into each hole and secure with CA glue.
- Paint the pins to match your underbody color — they'll be virtually invisible once painted.

Option 2 — Styrene Spacer
- Install a small styrene spacer (a piece of old sprue cut to the gap height will work perfectly) directly under the differential carrier.
- This takes up the gap and provides the support needed to prevent warping — no drilling required.
Both fixes are straightforward, and this guidance will be included in the instructions for all future kits.
