New Release: 1/12 Scale Camaro Four-Link Rear Suspension Kit

The 1/12 scale Camaro four-link rear suspension is just a tick away from releasing. This has been a labor of love for me, and I am really proud to say it exceeded my expectations. As I assembled the first painted kit to a chassis today, it reminded me of how much I enjoy the challenge of building.

This kit will challenge you—it contains eighteen 3D-printed parts and a dozen miniature rivets. I include three different sets of coil-over shock bodies for varying ride height options. The springs and spring keepers are separate parts to allow high detailing ability.

All the links are separate pieces, and I have gone through great pains to include fine details such as the jam nuts on the turnbuckles, threads on the coil-over bodies, and completely detailed bolted connections with hex nut details. The knurled preload adjustment knobs are even on the shocks.

All of the pieces are connected using metal rivets to allow the suspension to articulate to the ride height you choose (by using the different shock body lengths). The initial release will only be sold with my big brake kit, which is compatible with the Foose Camaro wheels or my own Corvette-inspired wheels and tires. I will offer a bundled kit including the suspension, wheels/tires, and big brakes at a deep discount.

Shortly after, I will release a separate version that is compatible with the stock kit's drum brakes and wheels, which will essentially be a different axle adapter. It is hard to describe how much work went into perfecting this kit, and any advanced modeler will appreciate this kit and the truly custom Camaro they can achieve with it.
